Just sat down at the computer and as always I wanted to take a look at my favourite home page: MyComicPile.... well you can imagine the astonishment went hitting comicbookrealm instead. At first I was a bit confused but I had heard that new things where happening. I didn't expect this kind of totally new website. Even a new address... well I must admit that it looks great. I am still trying to get a look at all the new features but my first friend was waiting for me at my profile...

I just wanted to let DoughBoy (and I would think a lot of other people) know that they have done a great job. I am really looking forward to exploring the new site and let you know that from what I have seen so far it looks great. Two thumbs waaay up Smile

Oh and I guess I will have to change those links I have made, so we can get google to look at the new address ;)

No kidding!!! I thought I had been redirected by an evil clone. I closed my browser and tried again... But the font for comic book realm looked familiar, so here I am.
I think the new site is cool, but I liked the old one better.Crying or Very sad

Things didn't really change. Basically it is just a new "skin" but for those that don't want the social aspect all you have to do is click on my realm after logging in and it is the same as clicking on collection on the old site.

Dev if there is something else with the old site that you liked that is not here please let me know.

i think the old site may have been prettier...but this one has a whole ton more new features...and basically has everything else the old site had, PM's will be implemented soon........oh and, other than some minor beta testing....dough boy did all the creating of this site....lots of time i am sure
http://comicbookrealm.com/jkoswald/collection check out my collection...selling everything (piles labeled "for sale" only) at 20% of value (80% off)...check my forum posting in the selling section for details

Prettier? I don't know about that...I am not a designer.

One thing i did with this site is that it is basically all CSS driven. So I am toying with the idea of handing out the CSS files to those that want them and they can create their own styles (either to use on their own or to share).

So if you like the old style, or want to emulate your favorite character, i.e. Batman (Black & yellow), you could.

I think that would be awesome. I have no idea how to use CSS, but I'd learn.

kool new site. i haven't been all around it yet but i think it will really bring together a good community. the only thing i have seen so far that i don't like is when looking at a comic series the details for the issue is below the list of comics not next to it like the old site. just makes for a lot of moving up and down the page. other than that everything looks real nice. good job man.

I didn't change anything. Do you know which browsers and versions you were using?
